Villa Splendid View lays in a triumph of colors and nature between olive trees, flowers and shady pergolas. Villa Splendid View is located a short walk from the center of Massa Lubrense, the last town on the wonderful Sorrento peninsula. Massa Lubrense is about 6 km from the centre of Sorrento and 15 km to the Amalfi Coast. The villa is close to Punta Campanella, the peak of the Sorrento peninsula, reachable by some paths, for pleasant walking in the nature and at a couple of km to the beaches that you may reach also in lesser time by a shortcut through the olive trees. The closer towns are Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi and Massa Lubrense (4 km) with some shops and coffee bars, very good restaurants are all around, even if a good cooking service can be arranged to the house. The villa is fully equipped and has right a common area with a professional kitchen and a further kitchen with a pizza oven reserved to professional chefs and pizza maker to plan delicious al fresco dinner.
All the property spreads on a large estate of about 2 hectares, consisting of several terraces, a wide solarium hosting the pool area, the common areas, gardens, lemon groove, an outdoor Jacuzzi, and some private corners ideal for sipping a drink or read a book in a peaceful location.
The access to the property is through an electronic gate, you'll come through a shady path that will lead you to the parking area, fit also for 4 cars. The access is shared with the guardian of the property who will be at your disposal 24/7 for any kind of emergencies or issues.
The parking is right in front of the Main house (La Casa Colonica). All the villa consists of two buildings: the Main House - La Casa Colonica (with all the bedrooms and some common areas) and the Pool House - Il Limoneto (where are located the huge living area and the main kitchen).
All around the Casa Colonica we have a lots of panoramic corners, with really impressive views, spreading from the island of Capri, Sorrento Coast, Bay of Naples and Vesuvius Vulcano. The whole estate is surrounded by a 1,5 hectares park with olive trees, a wood, Mediterranean plants and trees and the wood with spaces to relax for about 4000 square meters. The gardeners continuously take care of the outdoor, that is equipped with everything you may wish for a perfect staying. Several spot with scenic views, wooden gazebos, sofas, armchairs and sundecks are all around. A big barbeque covered with characteristics ceramic hand painted tiles called "riggiole" is also available to the guests. In the garden there is a fully equipped panoramic fitness area. Next to the Casa Colonica there is a Jacuzzi outdoor for 6/8 people.
A path running into the property will lead you at the big solarium with a beautiful infinity pool, surrounded by a lush garden and a large meadow. Next to the pool area there is a portico made of tufo stones and antique handmade majolica with a wood oven and a dining area, where you can taste the typical Neapolitan pizza. Also in this area there is a professional kitchen that guests can use to prepare grilled courses and al fresco meals. Behind the pool there is a large living room, an area tastefully decorated with a mix of modern and old furnishings, ideal for breakfast or other meals when is cold or rainy. Inside the dining room there is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you may need to prepare meals and where in the morning will be served the breakfast. Next to the Pool House (Il Limoneto), there is a characteristic garden originally used to protect the lemon trees during the colder months. A path for trekking runs into the estate.
The villa can accommodate up to 14/15 people with the possibility of extra beds on request in some units.
In the Casa Colonica there are five Suites, each equipped with the most modern amenities, but preserving the architectural features of the original structure as the vaulted ceilings painted in the tones of warmer colors. Allsuites are equipped with air conditioning / heating. All the units have access from an impressive hall with a vaulted ceiling. La Casa Colonica is a 300 sqm based on three different levels.
Suite Aria (4 beds – 1 bathroom - 80 sqm): it has a private entrance, two bedrooms (double / twin), a living room, a large bathroom with a shower, and terrace with table, chairs, sun loungers and a gazebo.
Suites Monti (2 beds - 1 bathroom - 40 sqm): It has two different entrances, one from the courtyard and one from the gardens. It is located in front of the Jacuzzi pool. It has a bedroom (double / twin), living room, bathroom with shower and a terrace with table chairs and sun loungers.
Suite Montefaito(2 beds - 1 bathroom - 40 sqm): it comes with a bedroom (double / twin), a living room, a bathroom with a shower and a panoramic terrace.
Suites San Filippo(2 beds - 1 bathroom - 40 sqm): it consists of a living room, a kitchenette, a bathroom, a double bedroom located in the loft with characteristic painted vaulted ceilings.
Suites Santa Chiara (4 beds - 1 bathroom - 60 sqm): has a large living room with two beds, a living room with panoramic window on Capri, a large bathroom with shower, a double bedroom in the loft with painted vaulted ceilings, a panoramic 40 sqm terrace with refined outdoor furnishings; a spiral staircase leads to a solarium equipped with showers and sunbeds.
Each unit has been designed to guarantee the privacy for all the members of a party: as they will have its own living room, kitchen, safe box, Wi-Fi internet connection, fridge and its own outdoor space.
Villa Splendid View is a perfect destination for a large family reunion, thanks to its several and comfortable common areas. The accessibility to the Villa is possible with your own car with parking inside. The road to reach the Villa at some points narrows, so it is necessary that the cars have a maximum width of 170 cm (small cars). For its position and the narrow streets all around we strongly suggest to rent city cars. A delivery of a car and transfer service can be per usual planned on request.
