Villa Orizzonte is situated in Scala, a little village in Amalfi Coast, not far away from the city centre of Ravello (around 2 km).
Coming down 170 steps you’ll be surrounded by the real Amalfi Coast landscape, right in the middle of a natural paradise! In front of you the Amalfi and Atrani coast will appear in an amazing scenario: rocky ridges covered from the green vegetation, small town perched on hills, remains of medieval churches, the bluest skies over cleanest water of the Mediterranean Sea. The villa lies along one of the roads linking Ravello and Scala to Amalfi and Atrani, two among the most beautiful locations of the area. By a 5 minutes walk, you’ll reach Pontone, a village with a bar, a restaurant and a pizzeria and in a 15 minutes walk you’ll be in Atrani, a typical fishermen village, hosting one of the most beautiful churches of the area.
The villa has the taste of a typical Amalfitan house with a beautiful views on the coast, on its villages and most of all the enchanting ruins of an old, Middle Aged cathedral.
The villa is equipped with all the modern comforts (TV Sat, wireless connection, air conditioning in some rooms, ect.).
In order to take the bags up the 170 steps, a porter service by donkeys is available from 15.00 to 19,30.
The main locations nearby are: Positano (20 km), Salerno (25 km), Sorrento (38 km), Pompei (28 km). Also, the international airport of Napoli is 65 km away.
Accommodation.
The villa, recently renovated, has a main house and two more annexes, available on request, that won’t be rented in case you book the main villa.
The main villa is structured on three floors: the ground floor opens on a large terrace, with a 4,5 x 9.5 meters pool (for guests’ use only and available from 21/05 to 15/10). The pool area give access to a large living room with a dining area and sofas. The kitchen is separated from the living room. It is equipped with a big fridge, washing-machine and dish washer. On the same floor, there are a Sat TV and a service bathroom.
On the second floor, there are the bedrooms: a triple with view on the mountains and en-suite bathroom and two double with view on the sea, sharing a large bathroom.
The villa has also two further apartments one under the terrace and the other one higher on a 3rd floor.
The first apartment, built on two levels, is called Ravello and can host up to 3+2 people. It consist of a ground floor with living room where take place a sofa bed for two people, a sea-view balcony and a bathroom and upstairs a single bedroom, a double bedroom sharing a bathroom.
The second apartment is called Minuta and can host 2+2 people. It is featured by a living room (with a sofa bed), a bathroom with shower and a double bedroom. The apartment also is on a panoramic and equipped garden with a barbecue area.
Both in the pool area and on the terraced gardens there are plenty corner to relax and enjoy the magical atmosphere as a location like this one can provide. The nature all around, the so very refined materials and the breath-taking views will make live the true experience of the place.
