Dominated by Mount Epomeo, Ischia is a small but perfectly formed island that neighbours Capri. You’ll see all the highlights as you go, like the subtropical La Mortella gardens. The gardens were created by English composer Sir William Walton and his wife who lived here from 1949. They feature more than 300 rare and exotic plants, along with ornate statues and waterfalls.
